Two years after believing they were dead, the Al-Aqqad family has identified Aisha Ahmed Bakr Al-Aqqad and her daughter in an image shared by an Israeli soldier nearly two years ago during the invasion of Khan Yunis.

They are believed to have been killed the same day forces raided their neighborhood, killed Aisha's husband Haj Muhammad Al-Aqqad, and kidnapped her son Iyad. The fate of the mother and daughter remains unknown to this day.
